Dennis, I feel we benefit from our affillation with the main club so I don't think it would be wise to have our "own" convention. But I think it would be great to maintain our "tournaments" in the winter. If the club could do a little negotiation maybe the casino putting on the tournament could set aside the trading room for dealers and a meeting room for the club at the same time. The last tournament at the Las Vegas Club had the best trade session I have ever attended and I would like to see a repeat this year. Also there is a usetobe chapter now club repesenting southern Neveda that meets at the LV Club already maybe they would be interested in putting on a "Mini show" in conjuction with our tournament.
