I visited Sams town a couple of weeks ago and to my surprise they only had their old strikes and not the new anniversary strikes in the machines. A real nice slot attendant knew nothing about the new strikes and went on to tell me these have been in the machines for as long as he could remember and you know a lot of casinos don't have them anymore but not us, we keep it going. I was confused by the whole experience. Did they run out of strikes?

Also the Stratosphere and Gold Coast have pulled their machines. The Lady at Gold Coast said that the strike machine was the only machine there that dispensed quarters and not tickets so it had to go, but she also was aware that the new machine was on order that will dispense tickets for change. We stood right by where the strike machine was, now is just a bare wall.
