The intent of the color capsules was to draw attention to a special strike, special in that it was a design in which a limited number were produced for some reason (normally to increase play on the machine in which they were placed). Keep in mind that ALL the strikes are of a limited production (how do I know, It says so right on the strike). It becomes a question of limited relative to what! The strikes which have been released in colored capsules have been produced in quantities of 100, 125, 250, 500, 750, 777 and a 1000. At the same time there has been two different strikes limited to 50 which were in clear capsules.
Bottom line is DO NOT PAY A PREMIUM BECAUSE THE CAPSULE IS COLORED. Pay a price relative to what the strike is worth at the time you buy it. Now IF IT IS A STRIKE WHICH CAME IN A COLORED CAPSULE BUT IS NOT IN THE CORRECT COLORED CAPSULE …..MAYBE, PAY A LITTLE LESS. However, remember you can make a capsule any color you want.
