The machine was played so little that the last ones left were sold from the gift shop. The machine was a $5 play but you could play $10 to win two if luck was with you.
After the machine was taken out, I was in Tunica. There were two in the cage but because the casino had posted a "Notice of Redemption" and inventoried them, they wouldn't sell them to me. I begged and begged. I went up the chain. I begged some more. No luck. Tony Gregory called a couple of days later and was going to go and get them if he could, but they told him that they had sold them. I guess I convinced them.
One $200 collector has taken out ads in Memphis and Little Rock newspapers to try to find one.
This is a very nice find. A few years ago, I would have paid a lot for the strike. It will bring a very nice return.
