I was at the Palms about 10 days after the Military strikes went into the machines and thought they were extremely tight ie., I put $100 in and got 2 strikes. That was the machine next to the tables. I made several more trips there at various times spending a lot of $$ to win four out of the five strikes. (I traded for Army later).
It was curious because I thought it wasn't difficult nor expensive to win the Playboy and Seattle Slew strikes earlier that year.
Maybe I just had a bad run, but it seemed like no one was winning the Military strikes quickly. It put a bad taste in my mouth for the Palms that they tightened up so much.
Can anyone share their recent experiences with winning the new Funny Cide strikes and how much they're acutally spending for them and what a $200 strike is costing at the machine?
