I think the point is, someone who lists vague IDs, casino names spelled wrong, no mint marks, partial names of what's pictured on the strikes and one liners, can't expect to get what they deserve for the strikes.
People will look, be mystified, see two dozen listings that all look the same, and move on.
Let me help... you can list similar item after the first one, and just change the name of the casino in the title, a couple of details in the description and you'll get a heck of alot better response and better bids. eBay remembers all the details in the auction, so once you have the stanrad stuff, you just need to edit the specific information for each one.
Include the words casino siler strike in the listing and it will be in all of them for anyone doing a search. Put the casino name, date, image and mint mark in one sentence. Then go back and edit that one sentence. The rest stays the same.
People are busy or lazy or "whatever" and don't have time to write an email for every auction they look at to find out what it is, when the listing is vague.
If you want to maximize your return you need to provide important information.
Trying to help you get more for your strikes.
Scans help, but if that means you would have to buy a scanner or digital camera and it might be more headaches than you care to go through, just write a nice simple description for each, with the basics. Hopefully most intereted people already know what a strike looks like.
Good Luck selling!
