That is some very good cleaning information there Gabe. I think that your method is the most correct way to do it, but there are others. Using rubber finger cots will also keep the chemicals off of your fingers as well as keep the oils from you skin getting on the strike. There are similar processes for cleaning printed circuit boards in the electronics industry. Hopefully the information will keep collectors from ruining their strikes.
