When did I ever say that all the past conventions were held in June?

My post said:
"All I'm asking is that we don't get into the habit of mid-June every year so as to be fair to those who can't make it at that time."

I'm talking about the future, not the past. As in "From now on let's not get into the habit.."

It seems that I hit a nerve in some people who've become very defensive. That was purely unintentional but Archie, you are getting worked up into a lather. That can't be good for your health, man. I wasn't trying to push your button. I just want to go the the darn convention. Can't we all just get along?
