Danny; Yes ... that single person (the Convention Chairman) IS more important than anyone else.

Have you ever attended a CC & GTCC Convention? THOUSANDS of people come from all over the U.S. and a few foreign countries to attend the Annual CC & GTCC Conventions no matter when they are held. It takes more than one person to put this huge show together. If the Chairman and all the convention volunteers are not available for the selected annual convention dates(and the club asks for volunteers each year) ... the people who are NOT in attendance are not affected either way. The old adage ... "can't please everyone" certainly fits this scenario.
