I guess I'm so gung-ho about the Club that I'm always dissapointed when a collector doesn't feel the need to join the CCGTCC. I won't try to change your mind as several members here have made better arguements than I could. I do believe there is one thing that is being overlooked about the banquet. I think we all agree that for $70 a couple we could get better food elsewhere. The one thing you can't get is the comraderie and the opportunity to hear a great speaker like we have every year. When this year's speaker is announced (probably in the next week) I think everyone will be extrememly excited....no we couldn't get the "Donald"!

I really appreciate everyone who has taken the the time to post their support for the Club. Thank you!

Also I want to assure everyone that even though we had to eliminate Chapters because of tax concerns the Club is going to make every effort to accomodate the Silver Strikers and other groups in any way we can without jeopardizing the tax status. I really think you will see little change. The Silver Strikers are important to the CCGTCC and hopely the opposite is true.
