I might be enticed to win one or two as a novelty, but certainly not collect a slew of them because that would be like saving "no copper" pennies, or "no silver" quarters. you're gonna barely break even or get burned in the long haul. There's no physical "Precious Metal" safety net quality in them. They're pot metal! Garbage in Garbage out. There's no fine artwork, its muted at best on the holographic stickers they apply to the medallions- Yuk!!
Someone might use the logic well the Riviera does it successfully with their holographic series, but I would argue Riviera succeeds on the coat tails of chip collectors, Silver Strike collectors and crossover demand "someone will buy it, cuz it's got a neat cat, dog, or Zodiac sign. People will buy just about anything so we'll just have to wait and see.
Ps - Hi Gerald & Janice - greetings from Great Lakes area.
