It is so refreshing to read this Board and see the fun you all have. I am really excited about the Tournament, should be great. My partner Jim and myself are looking forward to seeing you all there!

I have copied a "Welcome" and confirmation letter for you to read. I thought it would be really easy to pull all of the names of the entrants out of the data base and send this letter to each of you. Well, it would have been a nightmare so this will have to suffice. It tell you about the times of the Tournament which I had wrong! THIS letter will be official and I will let the Tournamnet lady, Kimberly Pruitt, do her job and I'll try to stay out of her way! The registration time is earlier than I had originally thought, but we have this letter right from Kimberly so it is correct this time.

Welcome to O’Shea’s
World’s First Silver Strike Slot Tournament!
December 1 & 2, 2001
Congratulations!

We would like to confirm your entry and welcome you to the “World’s first Silver Strike Slot Tournament” at the Flamingo Las Vegas!
You will be presented an exclusive “World’s First Silver Strike Tournament” $10 Silver Strike when you register for the tournament. This Silver Strike will have artwork of a global world on it and will celebrate the “World’s first Silver Strike Tournament”. This is a limited edition of 150 Strikes.
At our Awards Brunch, the top 50 cumulative tournament scores will be presented one of 50 limited edition gold plated Silver Strikes. First place will receive Strike #1, second place will receive strike #2, and so on.
Tournament Schedule:
Saturday, December 1 – 9:00am – 11:00am -Tournament Registration
*Please note that you must plan to be at the Flamingo Las Vegas no later than 11:00am.
Saturday, December 1 – Tournament play – Two sessions (morning and afternoon)
Saturday, December 1 – 8:00pm – 10:00pm – “Silver Strike Show & Tell” Meet your fellow participants and display your collection. Desserts, beer, wine and soda will be served.
Sunday, December 2 – Tournament Play – One session (morning)
Sunday, December 2 – 2:00pm – 4:00pm - Champagne Brunch and Awards Ceremony
Your sessions will be held in the Flamingo’s beautiful tournament area in the North Tour Lobby. You will receive your session times and your tournament machine assignments when you register for the tournament on Saturday morning. An average session will take 15-20 minutes.
We are very excited about hosting the “WORLD’S FIRST SILVER STRIKE TOURNAMENT” and look forward to meeting each of you. We intend to do our best to make you feel comfortable and well cared for during your stay with us. We look forward to your arrival, see you soon.  The new $200 Silver Strike from O’Shea’s and the three new $200 Flamingo Strikes will be on display during the “Worlds First Silver Strike Tournament”.
 All new Strikes, including the $200 Strikes, will be available to the tournament entrants and to the public sometime early afternoon on Friday, November 30. Any of the $200 Silver Strikes can be won from the machines themselves in O’Sheas and Flamingo, or you may trade twenty $10 Strikes from that Property to obtain one.
 O’Shea’s will have a $10 Limited Edition of 750 Christmas 2001 Silver Strikes which can be won by playing either Silver Strike machine at O’Shea’s.
 A bonus limited edition of 50 Silver Strikes, can be won with any hand-paid jackpot won at O’Shea’s. *The jackpot cannot be cashed out credits.
 O’Shea’s will have the “Classic American Car Series, 2001 available for play.
 The Flamingo, Las Vegas will unveil their new “Join the Fun” collection. This collection is a series of twelve $10 Silver Strikes limited to 1750 each. The first four of the series will be in the three machines on the Casino Floor at the time of the Tournament. After the initial four are released, the remaining Strikes in the series will be released one at a time every 30 to 40 days until the remaining eight are all released. Artwork on the remaining eight issues will be available for you to see.

After November 15th, no entry fees can be refunded. Tournament entrants must be 21 years of age. Airport Check-in is available and is located next to Baggage Carousel one. Any disputes that may arise during tournament play will be submitted to tournament officials, whose decision will be final. Failure to adhere to tournament rules and procedures may result in disqualification. The Flamingo Las Vegas reserves the right to cancel or alter this promotion without prior notice. This promotion cannot be used with any other event or promotion.
