Merging Accounts (Combining Two User IDs)

What does merging my accounts mean?

If you have two eBay accounts with two different User IDs, you can request eBay to combine them into one. Merging accounts can simplify your activities on eBay - you'll have just one account to keep track of.

Before you merge your accounts, you must decide which account will be the "new" (preferred) one and which will be the "old" (non-preferred) one. When you merge them, the following changes will occur:

Your User ID, email address, and other basic information will be determined by the new account. Most of the information from the old account will disappear. Your old User ID will no longer be recognized if you try to sign in with it.
The feedback profiles of the two accounts, including ratings and comments, will be combined. Your feedback score will be the sum of the feedback scores of the two accounts (assuming that the two sets of ratings all came from unique members).
For example, suppose you have two accounts with the User IDs "Account1" and "Account2", and you want to merge them so that you only have to manage the "Account2" account from now on. The following picture shows how they would be merged: there for this is leagle not shilling.
