Pete, some casinos can inventory a large amount of strikes because they get a lot of traffic. Smaller casino with less trafiic (Four Queens, Slots A Fun and others) need a gimmick to move their strikes. The only blame that I put on some collectors is their insistance that all casinos carry the same inventory as the bigger casinos. I have said let each casino run their program as they see fit according to their traffic.
Please read what I say and don't misinterpret what I have said in the previous post and many others: ".... those collectors who want higher mintage should give those casinos who have higher mintages more support or quit complaining and accept the lower more successful mintages."
By the way, when one of these casinos with a successful program ($5000-10,000 a week) removes their machine because of maintenence problems, employee complaints, collector complaints, strikes too far from machine or poor design of strikes let me know and maybe you can switch me over.
