o In Europe and Great Britain and in Asia banks will charge a service charge to cash a money order, a cashier's check and a personal check from the US. In certain instances, the charge would be over $ 15. Sending cash via registered mail is an accepted practice and apparently safe (with the possible exception of certain East European countries and Deutschland).

o The low bid might be due to the additional postage (substantially higher from Great Britain) plus customs duties. The amount is not low if all these are factored into the equation.
