You are correct, Tom. You are one of the few voices of reason in this forum.
The term you are thinking of is a Proxy Server. AOL and other ISPs use them all the time, in order to conserve bandwidth. There was even a thread about them here some months back, when several different members posted messages, yet all of them had the same IP address.
Unfortunately, we are cursed in this forum by some silly people who think there is a conspiracy lurking behind every tree, especially when they hear something that they don't like, especially when it involves potential profit (the actual collectors rarely complain about anything). I also think that many of the people who post these hysterical messages have serious problems with alcohol, since much of what they post makes absolutely no sense at all. People should not drink and then post messages in forums. It is sad, really.
As for my email, I get so much spam that I have set my security level to the highest possible, so only people on my pre-approved list have their messages sent through to me, while all others are bounced.
