2003 was a great year for collecting silver strikes and we sure had plenty to collect. It was a good year for the casinos, the collectors, the mint and IGT. I am sure IGT has a great looking spread sheet showing what was minted and how much was collected. The Four Queens has produces one of the best money makers around and we are fighting to stand in line for 12 hours to get one. Here it is 2004 an once again the Four Queens set another record for its latest strike. Looks like there is no limit to the collectors budget.
IS our budget unlimited? Are we going to be able to continue striking this year for even more money that last year? At convention there were 7 $200 and 46 $10 face value cost of $1860.
I wonder what IGT figure the average budget is for a silver strike collector? Have you figured out how much you actually spent on strikes last year? Will you continue to spend that and maybe a lot more?
