I went down to the New Frontier this afternoon to play for the new set of 4 strikes. When I got there, a woman was just finishing playing and she had a nice handful of strikes. I asked her how she had done, and she started showing me the strikes. Turns out all 8 strikes she had won were the old series - there wasn't a single new one in the group!

Checked out the display and it looked to me like the new ones were being shown. So I checked with the cage to see if they would trade for those being displayed. Answer: no. Then I asked a slot attendant why all the strikes were the old series and no new ones - response: I guess they are mixed in there and you'll have to keep playing until you get some. WRONG. I left.

Not this first time this has happened, I know, but did anyone else have that problem at the New Frontier?
