Re: Four Queens Question
In Response To: Four Queens Question ()

Bill, I live in Las Vegas and am fairly new to the Silver Strikers. I talked to many people at the QQQQ (I don't know why you care) and avoided at least one obvious dealer. There must be insider information that is not shared in a timely manner with the majority of other Strikers. I was there 9 hours early because getting out and seeing what was happening at the QQQQ was preferable than sitting at home. I certainly could have gone there at 5:00 PM Tuesday and put my name on a list and gone home for a full night's sleep before returning and getting in line (If I knew of the changing rule of "The List"). My problem with this last FQ $200 issue is: 1. The dealer's methods using stooges prohibited many collectors from getting their $200 strike (I don't care if it was only one dealer with 20 stooges), and 2. Limited insider information is biased and unfair/unethical to the Strike collector.
Again it was not fun, fair, or anything I would ever do again. As I said in a post you referenced, much of this methodology encourages plain old "greed". Always about money. I believe in having the $200 strikes available in the cage as the 20 $10 strikes are won.
And mint 150 of them. Management 101. Mark deserves all the hits he gets from the Strikers people.
