I don't know where I "bad mouthed" the Four Queens, but if it was that "Poreo" guy, then OK. I try to deal with issues, not name calling and bad mouthing.

One solution? (always something simple, but maybe it would work?) If the casino says redemption will start at 7 am and there will be no numbers, then also create a situation where there will be no lines. (there's a good trick) Or find a way so that people will not be encouraged or rewarded by standing in line for hours and hours ahead of time.

One way would be, don't tell them where to line up. (OK silly, but think about it?)

The ultimate simple solution is a lottery. I know some people will still feel slighted because of the short issues, that's built into the problem. Too many people who want them and not enough strikes... BUT with a lottery, people can come up and draw a number, before the distribution. Then at the official time, the winning numbers will be announced.

Only problem with that one, is people who will try to grab a gazillion numbers, but one number per ID and now you have no more lines, because it doesn't matter if you draw at 6:59am or 5 pm.

No more line jumping, because the line serves no purpose.

No more complaints about inside deals, because everyone will have an equal chance at the 150 strikes.

If someone finds they have a losing number, they can draw again after the line of winers has gone through, since there will be more tickets than there are strike winners. Hypothetical, 200 tickets (if that's how many people show up for the drawing) and exactaly the number of winning tickets as there are strikes issued. If it's 100 strikes, then 100 winning tickets.

All sorts of ways of doing that, but important to the whole solution is that it's easy, fair for all and doesn't reward people for lining up five hours in advance.

Trust me I've lined up for concert tickets (for friends) and made long distance calls to Ticket Agents across the country, because their lines would be open, and all sorts of other things, which the promoters kept changing, but finally they came up with the drawings for a place in line, and the whole camping out issue was ended.
