Re: Four Queens Question
In Response To: Four Queens Question ()

Bill, Of course you are satisfied. You got yours! I was at the Four Queens twice last week and asked if there was going to be a sign-up list and I was told "NO". I had people in line by me who had no idae what a silver strike was. They were paid to stand in line by a dealer. Husbands and wives each got one, dealers got a bunch of them and I am concerned that people who enjoy playing the machines and trading up for the $200.00 strikes are going to get discouraged, as I did, and leave the hobby.

I have signed up more members than anyone else the past two years and was working on it again this year but I feel really bad about the whole thing right now. To me the $200.00 silver strike is just part of my collection and the hunt is the fun part. I will not buy it on the after-market. The fun has been taken out of the hunt.
