Why do I think it's like hitting my head against the wall to make any sense?
Nothing against Mark, I'm not going to demonize him, or the casino, it's about the strike program.
1) They announced a time and date for redemption and also emailed people that there would be no numbers.
Instead, the casino started handing out numbers over four hours before the redemption, so people missed them. (stick to your promises) How come "some people" knew in advance and got their agents in line well in advance of the announced/scheduled time? Something fishy here, like inside deals?
2) The casino can sell 150 instead of 100 and "move" them all on the first day of issue, but for some reason, insistes on creating a hoarders profit center. (if someone says they are doing you a favor for charging $400-600 for one of these, please go back to reading fairy tales) The casino is actually losing potential sales and profits. Why would they ignore easy profits? Insider deals maybe?
3) The casino is creating a negative image, a negative atmosphere and animosity between fellow collectors and also dealers.
The casino is driving away potential collectors and at the same time making itself the target of bad publicity and criticism. All because they want to issue 100 LEs of strikes.
Doesn't something seem wrong about the whole scenareo, if the casino is losing customers, losing image, discouraging collectors and losing money, over something as simple as making 50 more $200 strikes?
Or is there something else behind the limited issues, that creates a secondary profit motive somehow?
See how easy it is to deal with issues, not name calling.
