Silver Strike casino tokens were dubbed such LONG before the Anchor Gaming progam became a reality.

Any casino token which was either Sterling (.0925 Fine Silver) or .999 Fine Silver were dubbed "SILVER STRIKES". And these tokens come in various denominations.

When I first started collecting the Anchor Gaming tokens and at my first ever convention which was the 1st CC&GTCC convention in Las Vegas, everytime I asked a dealer if they had Silver Strikes out came the sterling and .999 Fine Silver regular tokens and not the Anchor Gaming tokens I was expecting.

This is why I prefer to refer to the Anchor Gaming tokens as Silver Premium Tokens (SPT's).
