OK there have been a bunch of numbers tossed around. I'll take yours as a fair estimate. Trust me, last trip my average was around $17 a strike. (so what? )
I'm still willing to trade 20 strikes for one $200 strike, which is what they actually cost the player. This would include the one that was berated as being too common.
The goal is not to make a gain and probably it will be a loss in value vs original cost. But one $200 strike in the collection, would be pretty.
I don't buy and sell strikes, or win and sell. I collect and keep. When I have sold off strikes it was to buy other chips that I wanted, and usually they went "cheap" so someone got a good deal and I exchanged one casino item for something I wanted more.
I'd actually be more interested in one of the small town strikes, like Sierra Sid's, which have less demand, because it would be more unusual in the long run and more fun.
The hardest part for me, if someone takes me up on the offer, is going to be finding 20 strikes that I want to part with.
