There is an additional ingredient in this strange brew. Numbers are not everything. Demand can be increased beyond the norm (pun intended) due to a desireable theme and or very high quality. Cross over bidders on a theme such as general Hard Rock collectors can also tilt the scales. I wonder if the $200 Elvira commanded more interest than other $200 Four Queens strikes? Could more have been sold quickly than issued?
