The Four Queens issues 100 mintage and over 100 people show up prior to release. They issue 200 and about 70 people show up. If the collectors want higher mintage then I think the Ltd 200 should have gone out faster than the ltd 100.
Now why would 100 disappear and leave people, even some dealers without a strike, but when 200 are issued there are only 70 people interested? Hmmm
Could it be that when there are only 100, the hoarders come and grab as many as they can, to create a controlled shortage?
If there are really 100 interested collectors or dealers with orders and 200 are issued, shouldn't 100+ get distributed on the day of issue, just like when 100 are issued?
Doesn't anyone else see something wrong here?
Which brings up, where are the extra 30 from the release of 100 that sells out?
The 200 issue has pretty well established that there are only 70 collectors or dealers interested in a new release, when it's not manipulated by special interests.
Also I might add an off the cuff idea, why not issue 150 and have everyone happy. Not too many and enough to go around for everyone.
So Norm, why is it that only 70 people are interested when 200 are made and over 100 people when only 100 are made. Doesn't that strike you as strange?
