CYBER STALKER!
News flash. Advertising public auctions are legal and permitted on this board. Pass it on. One should reflect on one's own actions as far as threats are concerned. 357FORTOM?
Why is it there is never a peep out of you when I link an auction in which you have no interest? Is this not harassment to those that are bidding on these auctions? Never a peep when I find an auction before you bid on it and wish to do so. You have no problem advertising your own auctions. Does this not increase the price for the bidders involved? It seems a double standard is acceptable. Another news flash. I post many auctions not only those you bid on although it's tough for me to ascertain those which you might consider placing a bid.
You may have hit on something. When the first bid is placed on an auction it becomes secret so no other bidders can find it. That would sure bring out the reserves and BIN pricing. You may wish to contact Ebay and Jackpot about this one.
If you were nice instead of Mr. Nasty I may refrain from posting any auctions in which you are involved. On the other hand would this be fair to other bidders? There are many strike seekers that find improperly listed auctions as you do. The converse is also true. Many collectors are not that skilled with searching out the hidden auctions. Would it be fair to them if these auctions were not available to them to please you?
It would be interesting to solve this matter with a vote of the users. Hardly binding or enforceable. Since Greg operates this board and the rules are his it is his vote that matters. He has decided that off topic messages and auction links are permitted so here we are. Advertising auctions in forum such as this allows more people become aware of their existence. On the affirmative side people can obtain a strike that they were not even aware of in the first place. Let us also not forget an auction may be of interest because of a collectible aspect of it and worthy of discussion even if properly listed in the strike category. After all is not a board such as this to enhance the hobby with information? It's a coin flip on which is the better method. I've always been in favor of keeping things as open as possible.
My final comment is to cease harassing me and permit the free dissemination of auction information on this forum.
