Jackie & Jack - I would dought there is anything more to be had if they wouldn't comp you an extra night. I have been wondering what the lure of the tournament is, in the first tournament at O'Sheas there were strikes for the winners stated up front, this seemed to off set the cost, in this tournament there is no strike to the winners just somebody saying you will have the chance to play for 4 $10 strikes (more money out of the players pocket )that can be turned in for a $40 strike but I have seen nothing post about it being a sure thing. I didn't enter because the number of winners ( 15 for 100 entrys ) is way to low, past tournaments I have entered have paid back at least 30 places with most paying back 50 places per 100 players.
I am also wondering if the casinos in Vegas are seeing strike collectors as a cash cow when it comes to slot tournaments, if they really want our money why not offer some better pay backs, we all seem to love the tournaments as it gives people a chance to met people face to face but why not try to get a casino to have a tournament with better pay backs.
