What are some opinions out there concerning the low mintage number strikes that have come out and will be coming out soon? I'm referring to the "chase" strikes and also the upcoming strikes that the tournament players will receive and be able to win as prizes. Obviously all collectors are not going to be able to add these to their collections since currently there are several hundred silver strike collectors. I realize that it would be a pretty boring hobby if you could just go out and scoop up any strike you needed at it's face value, but I also wonder if these low number issues are helping or hurting the hobby. I sure can't go out and pay $500 to a dealer every time a new chase strike comes out. How do some of you other collectors feel?
