The winners will only receive a 1 of 50 silver strike. All entrants will receive a 1 of 150 silver strike.

I just received this update from Lisa included was this updade from Janel.

I listened to what you and several other people had to say and changed the rules of the Tournament. Now, each entrant will receive on free night at the Flamingo during the Tournament weekend. So married couples will end up with two free nights.

I am also working on getting a room for everyone for Saturday night. Mary Lou said everyone would really enjoy trading and just chatting with each other. Will let you know about my progress.

Here's the original details....

DETAILS:

Only 150 entrants will be accepted.

All participants will receive a $10 Silver Strike (noted on the Strike will be LTD 150) just for entering. It will say "World's First Silver Strike Tournament".

A Limited Edition of fifty gold plated $10 Silver Strikes, will be the prizes for the Tournament. These will be numbered starting with #1 through #50.

Prizes will be awarded at a Champagne Brunch at 2 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2001.

An 800 number will be given out the first week of October for pre-registration. Entrants will be able to call the Flamingo to register using this number. To confirm and hold a spot in the Tournament, entrant must prepay using a credit card. After November 15, no entry fees will be refunded.

If anyone sells his/her spot in the Tournament for a higher price than the original price of $300, that person will never be allowed to participate in future Strike Tournaments at the Flamingo. The Tournament manager must approve the sale of an original entrant's spot in the Tournament before the new entrant will be allowed to play. Scalping will not be tolerated.

The prizes will be awarded just as they are at a regular Slot Tournament. The top fifty point winners will be awarded their prize at the Brunch on Sunday. The top fifty prizes will be fifty gold plated $10 Silver Strikes numbered one through fifty. The overall highest point winner will receive Strike engraved #1; the second highest point winner will receive Strike engraved #2, and so on. Any tie will be settled in a sudden death play-off immediately following the session in which it occurs. The total points will be cumulative between the three sessions. Two sessions will be held on Saturday, December 1st and the third and final session will be late Sunday morning.

Each participant will receive a free room at the Flamingo, Las Vegas on Saturday, December 1. Each participant will also be invited to stay one additional day (either Friday or Sunday) at a low Casino rate.

All players will be provided a Flamingo Player's card upon their arrival.

On Friday, November 30, 2001, the following new Strikes and Silver Strike promotions will be available:

O'SHEA'S:

1. Release of a $10 Christmas Silver Strike in the O'Shea's machines. It will be a Limited edition of only 750. Five Christmas Strikes will be in each hopper fill. Players may only stay on the machine for one complete hopper, at that time the player must turn the machine over to the next person in line. No one may sell or buy a space in line.

2. A $200 Silver Strike will be available at the Cage in O'Shea's. It may be obtained by trading in twenty "current" Silver Strikes. No obsolete Strikes may be used for trade. The $200 Silver Strike will be limited to four hundred Strikes and will be so noted.

3. A Limited Edition of fifty Silver Strikes issued of an additional and separate $10 Silver Strike will be part of any hand paid jackpot on any slot machine on the floor at O'Shea's. If the jackpot is for $300, $290 cash and one $10 Silver Strike will be given in payment. Cashing out of credits will not qualify for a Silver Strike. This Strike will also show on the Strike itself that it is limited to fifty. This promotion will stay in effect until all fifty Strikes have been won.

FLAMINGO, LAS VEGAS:

1. A new series of Silver Strikes named the "JOIN THE FUN" collection will be available at the Flamingo beginning November 30, 2001.

The first two of twelve Strikes in the "Join the Fun" series will be in the machines on the floor, available to the public. These Strikes celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the Flamingo and one new Strike will be released monthly for the next ten months. Each of these Strikes will be limited to 1750 each.

2. Two separate $200 Silver Strikes will be available at the Flamingo cage. This may be obtained by trading in twenty $10 Silver Strikes.
