Now just calm down ARCHY. Everyone knows all about Richard. We all remember his attempt to corner the strike market a few years ago starting a huge inflation spiral which contributed to the current situation by attracting speculators. Certain strike catalogue authors publishing those inflated prices as gospel during this period did nothing but fan the flames. How strange those inflated prices have not been corrected downward in more recent catalogue issues. It appears high prices in catalogues sell. Especially to dealers and collectors with large (huge?) collections. Let's not forget the "anonymous" email threats from anyone bidding against Richard. Some of the emails received by female collectors were extremely vile.
