I'm not sure what the laws are there regarding the possession of stolen property, but in Texas the property can be (and will be) seized by law enforcement officials and the person loses out with no compensation. I'm talking about a case where someone unknownly bought stolen property. If you know it's stolen when you buy it, then you can be charged also. In other words, if you think or suspect it's stolen, leave it alone. It's not worth the risk.
