Chuck - You are right and wrong on your last post, first most any casino will take chips or strikes from another casino as long as they are still open and the chip or strikes has not been devalued, this is done eveyday all over Nevada, if fact there is a company that goes around to the casinos and collects the other casino chips and strikes and then sorts them and returns them to the issuing casino. As far as the Sundowner goes they stopped taking the strikes back last month when I was there to play for the new issue strikes, a few people got stuck with a bunch of old strikes but this should pay off later when the people who think the Sundowner will not close find out it will be closed Dec 1st if not sooner, say this because a friend in Reno said he heard today that tomorrow might be the last day for the Sundowner.
