Pete - I dought there are 300 collectors of the $200 strikes since there were a few $200 strikes with a mintage of over 100 and they can still be had from the casinos who have them. As it was stated several times in the past the casinos aren't going to produce a high number just to have them sitting in the vault, this is dead money for them and they don't like dead money. Perhaps the collectors might beable to get a casino to produe maybe 125 to 150 since I belive that many would be taken by collectors but getting it done could be a problem. Even if more were produced the people who get more than one will still be there getting as many as possible to resell. Its like you said if you can't be there in person to get one then its time to buy one some place or not collect the $200 strikes.
No matter what happens there are going to be unhappy people and if people start complaining to the gaming control people the casino might just stop their strike program, this has happened before and could happen again. Contrary to what colletors what to think the strike program doesn't generate that much money for the casino and the machine requires more attention then any other slot in the casino. I can recall one casino in northern nevada that pulled their strike machine because it required to much time to keep it working.
