Under Nevada Gaming Control Board Regs, a Gaming Token is ONLY permitted to be used for Gaming purposes. They may be purchased from the cage at FACE value but no more. There is a stringent approval process for each Silver Strike and any other gaming Token by the GCB.
I have been through this a number of times and that was the ruling. (Been in the Business for over 25 yrs)I would not think the owners of the Sundowner would intentionally break regulations....but some of the rank and file might not even know the regulations...all it takes is one complaint found to be true and a fine could occur although a slap on the wrist is more likely!
