Norm - At the time you would have played the machine they were telling the truth because they only had 5 of the new designs at the casino, the 6th design which was the Horse Head came in later. The first time I played the machine which was the later part of sept. they told use there was nothing but new in the machine and that there were 6 designs, the gal at the cage even showed use all six, when we played through the hopper fill we got more old than new ( so they weren't being honest then )and never did get full sets, but thanks to some nice collectors we were able to trade for two sets which are in our own collections. When I was there oct 6th was told there were more new than old in the machine and that the two remaining racks were old and new, after playing for everything they had on that day and getting all the new ones left I still only came home with 27 new strikes and only one set of 6. I don't belive on any given fill there was a compltete set to be won, if a person played through two hopper fills it was possible to get a complete set, I got alot of two designs and other people got lots of one type etc. this is why it is so hard to come up with a complete set. I have had several emails asking if I had a certain single design and had to tell the people I only had one set of 6 and two other extras, so far nobody has wanted to trade for the two designs I have left. Bottom line is like Jeff B. said I don't think there will ever be more than 50 or 60 full sets put together.
