I as a MEMBER (CHSS-100) of the Silver Striker's Chapter have a major CONCERN with the direction that this message board is taking.

I am getting tired of our pest who is now posting as "dave". This is the exact same poster who Greg has had to go to the trouble of approving the posts before they are posted here on the board.

For one thing this person just posted today that "vegasplayer has done nothing but cause trouble on this board for tha last year".

Five months is no where near a year!

Nor do we need "LINDA" telling US that our hobby is "dyeing".

Then we have vegasplayer posting a message as "raidera". vegasplayer is using @Home cable service and there is no way to change the associated IP address that a cable modem connected to the internet uses.

Take a look in the archives and see the 76 posts that Greg has had to archive due to problem posts. And now take a look at the associated IP's. Notice that they all have the IP's starting with

152.163
64.12
205.188

Note that these are all IP's from AOL and that NONE of them have ever had an E-mail address associated with them.

Do we see a similarity here? I think so. And if you read the posts closely, you'll see even more similarities that I won't mention here.

This message board is "The Official Bulletin Board for the Silver Strike Chapter of the CC&GTCC" and I for one feel these types of messages are NOT what the CHAPTER should sanction.

I would like to see this message board moderated and the offending messaged permanently "DELETED" and not placed into archives for others to still be able to access.

I feel that unlike the CC&GTCC message board that doesn't allow commercial posts that this message board should be able to allow them. Therefore, I am suggesting and submitting to the Silver Striker's Board of Directors for their consideration the following rules for this message board.

This club message board was established for the use of club members, non-club members, chapter members and non-chapter members for exchanging and disseminating information. Users are encouraged to ask and respond to questions and other postings, with an emphasis on The CC&GTCC club, The Silver Striker's Chapter and hobby related topics.

Examples of proper use includes:

This message board is intended for the use of all those interested in the CC&GTCC, The Silver Strikers Chapter and the casino collectibles hobby. It is restricted in its use as stated in this policy.

There are other bulletin boards and web sites that provide a wider forum and greater flexibility. We encourage their use.
