I agree with your viewpoint from a casino. If you could make more and "move" more, you would.
Strike collectors might not remember the big destruction project for 4 Queens LE chips that were becoming a "storage" issue.
There is a point where you can expect to _move_ everything you make, while making collectors happy, and it appears to be slightly higher than the current production.
But your numbers do support my theory that there are less than 150 people who are activly collecting these $200 strikes.
Anyway, if your target is zero inventory of the $200 tokens, you are doing a wonderful job. I was thinking to myself, that when you trade for 125, the casino gets back, 1250 $10 tokens! So aside from the small number of those that walk, you are re-cycling, and reducing that expense as well.
When collectors stop paying twice face for these, the dealers will drop out and the production numbers might have to be adjusted down again. Maybe only 100 of each made after that?
It's interesting watching, and nice that some casinos continue to produce premium tokens for people who enjoy them. Those same people will continue to enjoy and collect them, while the speculators will disappear when the values drop.
You'll have to stop in and write a note again if someone actually brings a $200 token back to the casino. That would be a surprise. (and short term storage)
