Yes indeed almost any collector has sold a strike at profit however that is not the MAIN goal. It is to enhance one's collection. Almost all strike auctions start at the minumum opening bid with most at no reserve. You buy for pennies then list with an opening bid at current high market value. Another tip off of a profiteer.

It seems to really bother you I deal not with ebay. I developed sources for strikes long before strikes proliferated on ebay in the coin world. The vast majority of my collection originated from coin dealers saving strikes for me from lots of coins purchased by them and still do. Perhaps you can now sleep nights. If not just continue to think of me as "poor" Tom. Another hint to your fixation with things of a monetary nature.

Don't forget to watch Vegasplayer's new "extra" ebay identity. You can preview strikes to be sold to you later at a higher price or , God forbid, buy them direct yourself! Perish the thought. See link below.

By the way I think I've "Made my Point". Pun intended.
