Jeff - I feel as you do that since there doesn't seem to be away to tell if its one thats had plating added to it the value should be about the same as the first issue one and that seems to be in the $370 range these days.

P.S Why on the subject of plating does anybody no where there is somebody who does replating ? I have a $40 strike that has some of it gold plating either coming off or has worn off.
