I recently acquired a Caesars Palace Las Vegas Winged Victory strike and want to know if it should look like a regular strike (silver insert and brass ring outside). The one I have is almost like a pewter color inside and the ring outside is very dull in color. On the logo side, the inner portion of the ring almost looks as if someone tried to paint it on. It's very roughly done. It also has a date on the logo side, 1966. The mint is G. Were the Winged Victory strikes all really made this way? It's certainly different from all the other Caesars strikes.
