Thanks for your prompt response Dennis. I find this policy strange inasmuch as quantities of chips manufactured is public knowledge .... although destruction records of chips are difficult to obtain.
I would agree that perhaps costs to produce strikes and special arrangements with casinos regarding purchasing of strikes and charges to the casinso per machine and per strike unit would be something the manufacturers would want to keep to themselves so that competitors don't undercut their price structure .... but I fail to understand why production numbers of the strikes themselves would fall under trade secrets ... especially with respect to casinos that no longer offer silver strike machines... as in Atlantic City.
