Walt, I have always purchased (2) Club Strikes each year since I became a member (7 Yrs. ago) except for this year, I only purchased (1) Club Strike. I know for a fact that there is more then one person who is unhappy with the new COMPUTER ENHANCEMENT idea for the Club Strikes. With the Computer Enhancement of the Strikes, either you should have all of the Drawings Enhanced by each person/artist who can enhance THEIR OWN DRAWINGS, or none of them should be enhanced at all. Walt, please re-read my earlier post because I don't want to repeat myself. As for the Casino's going to Clad, yes it was a cost factor, but that is not the only reason, a lot of the reason was because of the cost to purchase the New Strike Machines ($9,500.00 Each) when IGT wanted out of the Strike Program, just like the Casino's wanted out. If it cost me $12-$17 to win a .999 Fine Silver Strike out of the machines, then why are the club strikes selling for $30, $37 and $34?? I know that this is the only club fund raiser that our club has and as you stated about the parties, I don't attend them any longer (For the Last 4 Yrs.) and in the future there will be a $5.00 charge for all who attend and this was something I have been trying to get passed for the last 5 years along with my good friend Dennis Finn. Why should only people who attend the convention or the tournament get in for free at these parties and the people who cannot make it to either function due to work or family matters have their dues used to benefit certain club members. When I brought this up at the forum 4 years ago, I was told by an officer openly, "That if you don't like the way things are done, then run for office and change it!!!" God forbid if you should offer a suggestion that they don't want to hear or if you should try to nail them down for a direct answer to a question in front of other members, all you get are the usual beat around the bush answers. This should answer all of your questions on what I had to say about this matter.
