Re: 2010 CLUB COIN DRAWING CONTEST
Hi Jeff, First off, I do appreciate all of your involvement with everything you do with our Silver Strikers Club. In your posts, in the past and present, you have asked for club members to submit their DRAWINGS for the Club Strikes each year. In all fairness, I don't feel that asking for members to submit their DRAWINGS for these contests each year and then to have their DRAWINGS computer enhanced by someone else really is not fair to all who have submitted their hand drawn artistic sketches. I felt it was wrong in the very beginning when the members of our club had submitted their hand DRAWINGS only to be computer enhanced by another member of our club who has the software to do this task! If this is the way the officers have chosen to select the DRAWINGS that were submitted in the past and present, then everyone should have access to this software to do their own computerized enhancements!! Each person has their own artistic eye as to what they would or would not want enhanced to their DRAWINGS! I think this has caused a sour taste with some members who have submitted DRAWINGS in the past and I feel that this could be another reason why, along with the higher price to purchase these Club Strikes, these could be reasons that the sales have plummeted and difficult to sell the remaining strikes that our club has left! We never had to beg our club members before we started with the Computer Enhancement Program or to offer them to non-members before, and we shouldn't have to now! Thank you again Jeff for your dedication and support to our club, but these are only my suggestions and feelings.
