Are you saying our rights to post off topic messages should be taken away because of a few
who are "the posters of these offensive and threatening messages". I think it would be better to deal on an individual basis those who abuse their freedoms on this board.

This is Greg's board and what he allows goes.

I still think his all time best post contains the following:

"People come here for different reasons. Some people look only for information on Las Vegas strikes, some are looking for strikes from anywhere. Some just want information, some are looking for info on where to buy, some are looking for buyers and some are looking for sellers. My point here is that each and every person that uses this board has their own reason for coming here. That is what makes a board like this work, many different interests that all fall under the more broad category of Silver Strikes.

That doesn't mean that anything goes. There must be guidelines in place, but they should be broad guidelines that keep people on the general track of what the board is about, Silver Strikes in this instance. You don't want someone coming here selling used cars or offering medical advice, but you also have to remember that we are all human beings, and when we participate in a forum such as this, we get to know each other and on occasion, off topic things will be shared. How do you legislate something like that out? You don't! That is what makes this kind of thing work."
