Re: $7 McCarran Airport question

Here ia a $7 McCarran closing on ebay tomorrow. It may be worth watching. Be advisied no single auction is a fool proof indicator of a strike's price. The auction format can result in wild price swings. Improperly listed strikes in unrelated categories can result in low bidding. Shill bidding ( Fake bids to deliberately increase prices usually by the seller or collectors trying to keep market value high )can cause inflated prices. Above all the last one sold price is meaningless. Strike catalogues are the best reference assuming they are updated frequently. A once a year issue is just about as bad as a last auction price. Art Becker has a current guide www.artbecker.com with realistic pricing. More than likely you may not be interested to purchase a catalogue to sell one strike but others may be interested. If you decide to sell on ebay make certain to list in the strike category un the Collectible/Coin-op banks&casino/casino/strikes header. This will achieve maximum exposure to strike buyers. If you receive direct offers from your question here make certain you are not trying to be taken advantage of by resellers.
