I Believe that you hit the nail on the head. Found your message to make a lot of Sense. Naturelly it would be in the best interest of the Manufacturer to look for possable ways to make them cheaper for them,but still look as good as the Brass Collars.
I collect them if they come my way,but don't feel that they should command a premium. If the maker sticks with this program,then all the Strikes down the road may all be Copper. And as you stated, to each his own. Found you message enlightning,not offensive.
