We vote YES on a slot tournament
Some members of the chapter asked the board to look into having a swap and slot tournament sometime in the winter months. Everything is so hectic at convention with waiting to play SS machines,meetings,and getting to the convention to buy and trade, not much time for anything else.
A winter meet could be a lot of fun, more time to spend with friends, play a slot tournament, have a couple of trade sessions and maybe some new SS too.
I think a slot tournament with a trade session it is a wonderful idea and sounds like great fun.
Jamie and I did participate in the first SS slot tournament at the Flamingo and loved it. It was a great time, met some wonderful people and did get some nice strikes.
I love Silver Strikes, the people, Vegas, and slot tournaments! and yes I would pay $300 (or less) for the opportunity to do this plus a chance to win some prize money and maybe a SS or two. Nothing will ever be created that is perfect, there will always be a date that some will not like, there will be a prize that might not be to your liking, it might be at a hotel you don't like, etc., etc.
Its called gambling and I love it!! I would also bet that if there is such a slot tournament that the majority of you who voted NO will be the first to sign up for such a tournament.
