I enjoyed the last(and only)tournament at the Tropicana and I would not mind going to another one. I have a few thoughts about it though. What if we made the top prize a two hundred dollar strike. We could make it from two existing dies that are already available, like the Palms building on one side and the welcome to Las Vegas sign on the other, this would make it unique and no dies would have to be made. If it were just a test run and never put in play I am not sure it would have to clear gaming. Also if we used NCV strikes like the ones from the Palms for the convention that might also make it easier. I think that the main thing we have to do is get more input and information from all involved including IGT, the mint, and an interested casino.
I am all for a tournament but a lot of work has to be put in before we can present it for a vote.
