I'd have to agree with you, Dennis.
At least the first Silver Strike Tournament had "prizes" that were worth the entrance fee, and the free room helped.

If they did have an SS tournament though, I would like to see SS Club members getting first shot at registration(illegal?), in-play special blue caps and $200 strikes as prizes (various multiples to winners), the tournament date preferably being a day before the convention. It's pretty tough having the expense of going to LV again after the Convention.
